The Health Professions Attraction and Retention (HPA&R) Committee is pleased to share, five new doctors are accepting new patients. Residents who have recently lost a family doctor, want to begin doctoring locally, or who are seeking a family doctor for the first time, are encouraged to contact a clinic and request a meet-and-greet appointment.

Access to family physicians is a key factor in making communities attractive places to live, work, and raise families. Strengthening local medical services supports community growth and helps meet the needs of current and future residents, businesses, and employers.

The HPA&R Committee would like to extend its sincere thanks to our community partners and Alberta Health Services (AHS) for their support in successfully attracting five new family doctors to Stettler. Their dedication and collaboration have made it possible to strengthen healthcare access for our residents.
