The Corporate Service department serve as the frontline for the County of Stettler in regard to public inquiries: directing calls, answering emails and taking payments. The staff provide support to ratepayers, Council and all internal departments within the County.

Payment Options

There are many different ways that you can pay your property taxes, utilities, or other billings in the County of Stettler. We accept payments by cash, cheque, debit card, online banking, or at most major financial institutions. If you are paying your taxes or utilities online ensure that you are paying them to the County of Stettler No. 6.


We accept utility payments, taxes and receivable payments by online banking payment. Please ensure you use your roll number to pay taxes, your utility number to pay utilities and your customer ID for invoices. Please contact the County Office for additional information.


Following an update in practice, all payments must be paid to the correct Account Number and Payee Description. Any payments received without the correct information will be returned to the bank of the Payer, as our system cannot recognize or process these payments.


All invoices are due 30 days from the invoice date. After 30 days, any outstanding invoices will be charged interest a 1.5% per month. Accounts that are outstanding for more than 90 days will be transferred to the Tax Roll as per Municipal Government Act Section 553 1(a)&(b), and Section 553 1(g).
