While our crews have been out since the storm subsided, high winds have blown snow back in across several areas. Routes that were previously cleared need to be re-cleared and we will continue to open roads throughout the County of Stettler.
Please know our crews are working tirelessly and safely to open roads throughout the County. With drifting expected to continue in some areas, certain roads may require multiple passes before conditions fully stabilize. In addition, the extreme cold has created some temperature-related challenges with equipment, slowing progress.
Our priority remains getting all County roadways open and safe for travel. Once that is complete, we will begin clearing driveways.
