Snow Removal and Road Maintenance Update

With the recent heavy snowfall, our Public Works teams are working diligently to ensure roads remain safe and accessible:

  • Paved Surfaces: Plow trucks are actively clearing snow and sanding as required to improve traction.
  • Airport Runway: The runway has been cleared and is being closely monitored for any additional plowing needs.
  • Gravel Roads: Crews are inspecting and monitoring gravel roadways. Graders will wait until the snowfall stops and conditions stabilize before smoothing out gravel surfaces— based on the current forecast this will begin Monday.

We are addressing issues with snow being plowed into our approaches by Emcon Services and have requested them to correct these areas. If necessary, our crews will step in to ensure access is restored.

Additionally, we are in communication with Clearview Public Schools to provide updates on road conditions for Monday morning bus routes.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through these winter snowfall conditions, and the first snow event of this season. Please drive with care and caution.
