PUBLIC NOTICE - PROPOSED ROAD CLOSURE ALONG BAYVIEW STREET - BYLAW 1722-24
Notice is hereby given that the County of Stettler No. 6 has given first reading to Bylaw 1722-24 to close a 30m portion of Bayview Street between Range Road 20-4 and Island View Close. The area of the proposed closure is located on the south side of the NE 20-40-20-4 and extends east from the east side of Island View Close.
The purpose of the proposed road closure is to facilitate the installation and management of a temporary traffic control gate that is required as part of the Land and Property Rights Tribunal’s approval of the Bar W Resort recreational vehicle park in the NE 20-40-20-4. The gate is intended to deter traffic related to the Bar W Resort during the late Spring and Summer months from using Bayview Street to the west to reach Highway 835 and to instead use Range Road 20-4 and Township Road 40-2 to reach Highway 835.
The bylaw may be reviewed at the County Administration Building located at 6602 – 44 Avenue, Stettler, Alberta during regular office hours, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. A copy of the bylaw can be obtained via email by sending a request to cteal@stettlercounty.ca.
