[ARCHIVED] Bylaw 1711-23: Public Hearing Notice

The County of Stettler has prepared Bylaw No. 1711-23, to closing to the public travel on portion of Prairie Avenue in the Hamlet of Gadsby and creating title to portions of a public highway in accordance with Section 22 of Municipal Government Act Chapter 26, Revised Statutes of Alberta 2000, as amended. Council gave first Reading to Bylaw 1711-23 at the October 11, 2023 Council Meeting.  The bylaw is now being circulated for further public review.

 

A Public Hearing on the proposed bylaw has been scheduled for November 15, 2023 at 1:00 pm or as soon thereafter electronically.  

Copies of the proposed Bylaw 1711-23 are available on the County website at https://www.stettlercounty.ca.

The hearing will be chaired by the Reeve.   Persons wishing to join by teleconference will be requested to state their name and address for the record upon being recognized by the Chair. Council will hear verbal or written submissions from any person who claims to be affected by the proposed bylaw. Persons may make oral presentations in person, via Zoom or via teleconference at the hearing, regardless of whether or not they have provided written comments prior to the hearing.  

 

A copy of the proposed bylaw is available on the County website at https://www.stettlercounty.ca/

Comments on the Bylaw may be submitted prior to the public hearing up to November 3, 2023.
