Strychnine Sales Ending - The County can no longer sell 2% Liquid Strychnine Concentrate after March 4, 2022
Under the authority of the Pest Control Products Act, Health Canada is cancelling the registration of all 2% liquid Strychnine products. Municipalities will no longer be able to sell this product as of March 4, 2022. The permitted use of 2% liquid strychnine will end March 4, 2023.
The County of Stettler is selling 2% Liquid Strychnine Concentrate for the control of severe damage (30% crop loss) from Richardson Ground Squirrels, for the 2022 season to County of Stettler ratepayers from your Agricultural Service Board.

- Legal Land Description where product MAY be applied
- Type of field(s) to b treated (crop, forage, pasture- and rough acreage of each)
- Approximate acreage of infestation area of each field
- Approximate farm size
