Public Notice: Bylaw 1641-20 - Electronic Transmission of Documents

General

In 2019, the Municipal Government Act’s amendments included the ability for Municipalities to institute a bylaw that would allow ratepayers to opt-in to receiving assessment, tax, and other notices, documents, and information by electronic means.

The County of Stettler No. 6 is starting to receive requests for this service, particularly from industry.

Ratepayers must request to opt-in to receive these notices electronically, so this bylaw will not affect anyone who does not want it.
