Election and Campaign Financing

If you plan on collecting contributions or financing your campaign in any way other than with your own money, you should read the following information. There are additional forms and processes you must follow if you accept any campaign contributions. Candidate Information Session

There are several changes to the Elections Act, and in order to give candidates all the information they need, Doreen Nixon, Returning Officer for County of Stettler No. 6 is holding a Candidate Information Session.

We will go over changes to the Election Act, Voter Identification Requirements, Scrutineer Procedures, Signage and Financing regulations and answer any questions you may have about running for office. This information session is open to any municipal candidates looking for some more information about the election. We strongly encourage all candidates to attend so they are well informed on Election Day!
